You are only able to delete journals that have not been processed yet. Ones that are on hold.
Delete a Journal
Go to Admin Menu and select Only journals that are on hold are able to be deleted. Once they have been posted, they must be reversed instead.
Go to General Ledger menu, then click Journal Search.

journal to be deleted.
Highlight the

row and click the Delete button.

This will bring up a message box asking you to confirm you wish to delete this journal.

Click Delete,

otherwise click Cancel.
