Below are instructions on getting a new ACAS user set up. These steps will need to be done after the Conference User has set up the new user in ACAS and the activation email has been sent out.
The process is as follows:
- Activate your user, which will then log you in to the Production (Live) site
- We will then make a copy of Production to the Training site. This copies your user details from Production to Training, which is why we want you to activate your user as soon as possible.
To activate your user
1 | Locate the “Welcome to ACAS” email (logos etc are still to be updated, so you are seeing the first iteration of the email). Click the Activate Now button or copy/paste the link into a browser window. |
2 | After clicking Activate, the Sign in window will appear. Click the “Sign up now” link (all users are to do this, even those who have had access in the past) |
3 | Complete all the fields in the Sign Up window. Ensure you use the email address that the activation email was sent to, and that you remember the password you set. |

4 | Upon completing the sign up process, you will now be logged in to the Production (Live) site. Please do not enter any transactions or make any changes here |
5 | Click the Log Out link to log out of the Production site |
