If you have tried to create a new myAdventist Password account and are receiving an error "Unable to create profile", the email address/account is already in use

If you are receiving the error below when trying to create an account then this article is for you:

"Email/account is already in use. Please use the 'Recover Profile' option if you forgot your password."

. This means it has already been set-up within myAdventist.

Option 1 - Recover My Profile for that email address/account.

  • If you have a Password account already set-up, follow the instructions to How to recover my profile in MyAdventist
  • If your account is a Staff account (usually 'name@adventist.org'), return to myadventist.org and click Staff to login this way; contact your local Site IT for assistance if you need a password reset.
  • If you use a Federated Login (Microsoft, Gmail, Yahoo, Facebook), return to myadventist.org and click the Microsoft/Gmail/Yahoo/Facebook button to login this way; follow their password reset instructions if you need to reset your password.

Option 2 - create a new email account (e.g. with Gmail/Hotmail) then use it for a Password account in myAdventist

Create an email account with a free email service (e.g. gmail.com, hotmail.com, yahoo.com.au).
