Summary of changes

• Reports | Transaction Listing – now has a filter called Sort by Posted Date. This is useful if there are backdated transactions and you are using this report as a statement.

• Reports | Transaction Listing – the number format is now correct when the report is exported to Excel

• Reports | Income Statement – there is now a new filter called Group by Analysis Category. This is useful if you wish to display the Income Statement for all Departments starting on a new page each.  When the checkbox is ticked, the next field becomes available for you to choose the Sub-Account type that you wish to display the report for.

• Journal numbers – will now be in the correct financial year. If a journal was created with a 2022 period and has a journal number allocated, but is tried to be posted with a 2023 period, this will be prevented. This is so the journal numbers remain correct. The journal would need to be exported and re-imported as a new transaction, which will then be given a new journal number and can be posted. The old journal can then be deleted.
