How to Maintain Registered Cards and Bank Accounts in eGiving

View Registered Cards and Bank Accounts

Open https://egiving.org.au or https://egiving.org.nz in your web browser.

Click the MyAdventist icon to log in.

You will be directed to the MyAdventist login page. Click the login method connected to your profile.

Once you have successfully logged in, you will be directed back to the eGiving website. Then click the Maintain registered cards and bank accounts link to view the credit card/bank accounts you have registered.

You will then be directed to your Profile page in MyAdventist. Click the Cards & Accounts tab. You should then be able to see the list of credit cards/bank accounts that you have saved.

Follow the steps below to add or remove cards and/or bank accounts.



Add a Bank Account

  1. Accepted cards


    • Visa

    • MasterCard

  2. Registering your credit card details - When you add your credit card, we validate and register that information with the payment gateway. We do not store your card details, we only retain a registration token that identifies your card in subsequent transactions.

  3. Using your "saved" card in MyAdventist applications - MyAdventist supported applications may allow you to select your registered card to use in a transaction, saving you the trouble of entering your card details each time. The card token is used to obtain a truncated representation of your card number for display, for example: 1234. . .987.

    If directed by you, the application can submit your card token with the transaction.

  4. Removing your "saved" credit card - When you "remove" your card, the card token is de-registered. Subsequently the token will no longer be recognised if it is submitted as part of a transaction.

If have an existing scheduled donation, it will need to be updated to use different payment details.

Follow the steps 1-5 shown above in the View Registered Cards and Bank Accounts section to get to 'My profile'.

Click the Cards & Accounts tab.

To add a bank account, click the Add button.

Credit / Debit cards can be added in the website and app during giving.

Enter bank account details and click Save & Close.



Remove a Registered Credit Card/Bank Account

The below example shows how to remove a stored credit card, but if it is a bank account you wish to remove, click on the Bank Account details instead.

Follow the steps 1-5 shown above in the View Registered Cards and Bank Accounts section to get to 'My profile'.

Click the Cards & Accounts tab.

Click on your credit card number to go into the Credit Card Details screen.

Click on the Remove button, and then click on the Yes, I'm sure button. This will successfully remove your credit card details from MyAdventist.

Click the Continue button to return to the My Profile – Details screen

To check if you have successfully removed your credit card/bank account, click the Cards & Accounts tab again once you're back in the My Profile - Details screen. It should show (none) or the credit card number should not show in the list anymore.
