Deactivating / Reactivating a Church

If a church ceases to operate, it can be deactivated in ACAS by a Conference Administrator and be taken off eGiving. By doing this, the church will no longer show in ACAS as ledger to be able to select, or on Conference-level reports, or be listed on the eGiving website or app.

1. Be in the Conference ledger

2. Go to Admin | Organisations and highlight the church.

3. Click on the eGiving tab and untick the “Enabled” checkbox beside eGiving.

4. Click Save.

5. With the church still highlighted, click the Deactivate button.

The church ledger has now been deactivated. If you wish to see it in the list in Admin | Organisation, tick the “Include Inactive” checkbox and click Search.

To reactivate a church

1. Be in the Conference ledger

2. Go to Admin | Organisations and tick the Include Inactive checkbox. Click Search.

3. Highlight the inactive church and click the Reactivate button.
