Summary of changes:

  • Expenses | Express Payment Entry - the Invoice No. field is no longer mandatory. If data is entered though, the system will check for duplicates.

  • Period Close | Bank Reconciliation - Date format changed to DD/MM/YYYY. Existing formatting was getting truncated for month of September.

  • Period Close | Period Close - minor changes to the button names and Save toast (pop-up message) to make it clearer if the Period Close has only been saved, not completed.

  • Period Close | CMF Statements - print button added.

  • Reports | T&O Analysis (Church) - additional information added to the report.

  • General Ledger | Clients - Supplier records can now be made inactive if the balance is $0 and there are no outstanding expenses.

  • General Ledger | Journal Entry - updates to the development tools have changed how this screen works. Most functionality has remained, except the automatic creation of a new row when pressing Tab. We are working with the developers of the software tools to see if they will add this.

    • In the meantime, use the shortcut of Alt+R or click the New Row button. These changes will be applied to other Entry screens in subsequent updates, so please pass on any feedback.

  • Admin | Attachments Library - files can now be moved to a different folder, and deleted. When a file is selected and the delete icon clicked, a pop-up will appear asking if you wish the delete the file from the library but keep it attached to any files, or delete it from the library and where it is attached.

  • Admin | Tax Categories - Tax Categories and the N/A Tax Code have now been added for all countries. Up until now, these had just been set up for Australia and New Zealand. This will allow journals to be entered in any ledgers, which was previously not possible as the Tax Code field was mandatory, but none existed.

  • Admin | Users - corrected the logic around the Roles and Organisations can be given to a user. Now you can see Roles and Organisations for the current ledger and 1 child level down.

    • Example - your user has the Division Administrator role for the South Pacific Division and the Union Administrator for Trans Pacific Union Mission. You wish to create a new Conference Administrator user for Fiji Mission. You would need to be in the Trans Pacific Union Mission ledger to create the new user, or you would not see the Conference Administrator role or the Fiji Mission organisation when completing those fields.

    • This logic also applies to the Entity Users & Roles report.

  • Income Summary churches - the Expenses menu will no longer show when in a church that has the "Income Summary only" checkbox ticked in Admin | Organisations.

  • Minor bug fixes, such as reinstating the code that prevented reversing of reversal/reversed entries.

  • Technical updates - the update of the development tools may cause some functions to not work as expected. We have to keep these tools up-to-date, and there are new features we get, but sometimes existing code gets broken. We have tried to test each screen, but please email Service Desk if something is not working correctly and we'll investigate.

    • Data entry tip - to get a dropdown list to display using only the keyboard, press Alt+DownArrow. Then the down arrow can be used to get to the required option.
