Summary of changes

  1. Income | Donation Tax Summaries - the full amount of DTS reports should now be able to be emailed in one go

  2. Income | Receipt Search - gives a warning message when trying to delete receipts with attachments. Attachments must be deleted first.

  3. Expenses | Payment Search - fixed bug where Payment Details report does not print data if a Bank Account filter has been used in the search.

  4. Expenses | Payment Search - Payments made to the Parent as part of Period Close now show the CMF Reference.

  5. Period Close | Period Close - any bank reconciliation with a $0 variance that has not been verified, with a date up to the period being closed, will automatically be verified as part of the Period Close process. If it cannot verify the bank reconciliation, such as where there is a bank reconciliation with a variance, it will ignore the account and proceed with the Period Close.

  6. Period Close | Period Close - fixed bug where Non-Church Business Units were not able to close periods.

  7. Period Close | Period Close - the roll-up will look at the balance of NLO liability accounts up to the period being closed, rather than just the amount received for the period being closed. So funds "stuck" in liability accounts at churches will get rolled up in the next period close. Funds should no longer get stuck in ACAS, but if a new scenario arises in which this happens, the balance of the account should now always roll up.

  8. Period Close | CMF Statements - the date on the dropdown list shows as the end of the month, rather than the date the statement was issued.

  9. Reports | Donation Tax Summary Status (NZ Conferences only) - new report to show the status of DTS generation for each church.

  10. Reports | Monthly Report - fixed bug when reporting on NLO that go 100% to the Church.

  11. Reports | Monthly Report - MC - now uses the Account Name instead of the eGiving Offering Name, minor updates to the shading and header, changed the default period filter to the last closed period.

  12. Reports | Trial Balance - update logic around the Exclude Year End Journals filter.

  13. Reports | Tithes and Offerings - fixed some amounts missing in the Remitted column, and the report not using the ledger currency.

  14. Reports

    1. The Client Code has been added to:

      1. Receipt Search report

      2. Expense Search report

      3. Payment Search report

      4. Client Transactions report - in the filters and the report data

    2. Freeze Panes implemented on the following Excel reports

      1. Conference Tithe

      2. Financial Statements per Period

      3. Journal Export

      4. Remittable Funds from Child Entities

      5. Tithes and Offerings (Export Report option)

      6. T&O Analysis (Export Report option)

      7. T&O Analysis by Entity

  15. Admin | Organisations - the eGiving fees fields have been hidden from church ledgers. They are not relevant at the church level, only the Conference level.

  16. Admin | Organisations - fixed bug where the next Financial Year was not automatically being created when there are only 3 periods remaining in the current financial year.

  17. All Entry screens - decimal places allowed to be entered is limited to the currency of the ledger, and this is all that is transferred to the database. Any decimals entered after this will be truncated. E.g. if $152.3689 was entered in a Receipt in an Australian or NZ church ledger, the amount would be changed to $152.36.

  18. Left hand menu and main screen now scroll independently

  19. Buttons on all screens - prevent them being clicked multiple times. This was causing errors that we picked up in the application monitoring.

  20. Multi-currency ledgers - add checks to prevent Period Close occurring if there is not an applicable exchange rate for the period being closed.

  21. Developer tool updates - this may affect the “look and feel” of the screens. We have tried to change everything to how it looked before, or make improvements so that formatting won't break for future updates, but let us know if something does not look right.
