Summary of changes
Period Close | Bank Reconciliation – now scrolls to show all transactions, rather than using paging. This should also fix any issues regarding saving, so please test it soon and confirm that all is working correctly.
Note that using the Select All button or checkbox can be slow when there are many transactions. The screen may look frozen for a few seconds but it is working.
Period Close | Period Close – Income Summary amounts made using the Denominational Payable account now show in the Total Expense Payments field on the Period Close screen.
Reports | Income & Expense Statement
New filter “Include Inactive Accounts” – it defaults to No, but if inactive accounts with balances are detected for the period the report is run, a message will show in red in the header to indicate this. The Income Statement report in the Financial Reports per Period report automatically includes inactive accounts with balances, so these two reports should now show matching amounts.
New filter “Exclude Year End Journals” – defaults to Yes. This will only exclude RET journals that are created as part of running the Year End function, not manual journals entered.
Reports | Journal Export – we have started work on a new section on the Journal Data Grid sheet to show expense payments made to the Parent during the period. We need clarification on some items though so please ignore this section for now. I will explain further in the meeting on Thursday.
Admin | Period Reopen – corrected the functionality so that it looks at the period that the Roll-In journal was made in at the Parent entity, which determines whether the child can re-open the period or not.
