Release Date - 30 March 2023

Summary of changes:

1. Income | Receipt Search – layout updates to the receipt report. It now has a watermark, the same as the eGiving receipt.

2. Period Close | Bank Reconciliation - statements should automatically be created for CMF accounts once the CMF team have produced the statements. Please test this and let me know if it has worked as it wasn’t able to be tested using the test environments. If the update wasn’t out in time for this month’s statements, see what happens in April.  

3. Reports | GC Statistical Report has been created (SPD only, and only activated in the Training environment. Please test and advise of any feedback. It will require the review and updating of the Classification field on all Non-Local Offerings at all levels to ensure the data is correct.)

4. Admin | Import Budgets - ACAS would crash if a blank import file was tried to be uploaded. This no longer happens.

5. Admin | Manage Accounts - the Tax tab has been added to Income accounts/assigned sub-accounts. This is primarily for New Zealand churches, so they can see what accounts are tax-deductible or not.

   1. This has temporarily made the Tax tab on Non-Local Offerings become not editable. This will  be fixed in the next deploy.

7. eGiving - the sort order of offerings has mostly been restored. Some offerings at the SPD and Union levels are getting mixed together, but all other groupings are correct. Further work will be done to fully correct this.

8. Donation Tax Summary feature for New Zealand - this has been previously outlined and tested with the NZ teams.

      1. DTS report to use Date instead of Period when determining the transactions to include

      2. Improvements to the scenario where the Search results include rows already with a DTS No. and those without. An example of this would be if a Giver requested a DTS report before the tax year end. When you come to run the DTS at the tax year end, it would be best to use the Status filter and set it to “Not Generated” to avoid re-generating reports already done.

10. Fix issues with the NZ tax-deductible information on receipts. It was not factoring in the $5 minimum DTS amount. 

11. Express Payments and Payment entries made to the Parent – now include the Church Code so you can tell on the CMF Statement which church made them.
