Summary of changes
Income | Donation Tax Summaries - fixed issue where duplicate DTS were created if the Preview button was double-clicked or multiple users clicked the button in that ledger at the same time.
Expenses | Payment Search - fixed bug with the Period From and Period To filters displaying incorrectly.
Period Close | Period Close - added checks to ensure there is a valid exchange rate where multi-currency is in use. If there is not, a warning message is displayed and the process is not permitted to continue.
Period Close | Period Close - System Administrators can now close periods before the month end has been reached. This is to allow testing of features such as Year End, which may require periods in the future to be closed before the Year End testing can be done.
Admin | Journal Entry – updated the logic so that correcting entries where the Tax amounts were cancelling each other out can now be entered. They were previously giving an unhandled error as they were being detected as a $0 journal.
Admin | Organisations - under the eGiving tab, the Google map has been added back after being removed due to an issue.
Admin | Organisations - the Change Financial Year function has been implemented, along with updates in the Year End function and Year End Status report to cater for this. Please see the Help to learn how this feature works. Please work with us the first time you use this feature so we can go through it with you.
Admin | Users - you can now add Role/s and Organisation/s to users that exist but you don't have access to. When creating a new user, if the user already exists (based on data in the Email field) a pop-up message will appear saying "A user called [Given Name] [Surname] with the email address of [Email] already exists. A duplicate record may not be created. Would you like to add a role to the existing record? Yes | Cancel".
Reports
The Date filter now shows as DD/MM/YYYY
Improvements to reports so that ACAS starts up faster
The Donation Tax Summary report menu item has been removed, as everything to do with DTS is now at Income | Donation Tax Summaries
