Coloured Text in a V2 event

V2 allows the text in text boxes to be changed from black to colour. See instructions below.

Double-click to edit the text, or click the text properties button (spanner/wrench icon at right)

Click the Toggle html/Rich Text button

Copy and phrase shown below, and paste it into the Text editor window (from step 2).

  • #0000ff - this is the colour reference or colour name

  • Text here - this the text to be displayed in the selected colour

To reference different hex colours, refer to the list of 216 at https://www.colorhexa.com/, or otherwise google 'colour hexa' and the name of the colour intended for use

Here are the colour hex reference examples for red, blue and yellow:

To reference colour names, use the html colour names supported by modern browsers (there are 160 colour names, see https://htmlcolorcodes.com/color-names/ )

Here are the html colour names used for seagreen and cornflower blue

Click Save. The coloured text is displayed.

hex colour reference:
